Spring Market at the Old Lucketts Store

Going to the Luckett’s Spring Market again this year…second time around…May 19, 20 and 21!  It’s a “country” flea in Virginia that I found last year…met up with my dear friend, Margaret  (she lives in Atlanta) and had a great time exploring and buying, of course.  Notice the chairs flanking that great couch…

 

The main motivation for me was to see what goodies Marian Parsons had curated…of Miss Mustard Seed fame..  She is a furniture rehaber extraordinaire and a lover of antique linens … been following her blog for a few years now.  My morning ritual is to sit down with a cup of tea after the girls go running madly for the bus and check out her latest blog post.  I have some of her pieces in my house that I really love…the antique barn wood coffee table in my sitting room and the linen, french provincial chairs in my bedroom.  I know, not great pics, but the pieces are very cool.

 

The Luckett’s flea is definitely worth the trip…I am springing for the early bird tickets again…gotta have dibs on the really good stuff.
