About the Class
Not all great pottery starts on a wheel. This hand building pottery class is an introduction to the oldest and most versatile techniques in ceramics — and it’s open to everyone, whether you’ve never touched clay before or you’re looking to expand your practice.
Over 4 Weds. morning sessions, instructor Susan Palmer will guide you through pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction. You’ll create functional pieces — mugs, bowls, plates — while also exploring more experimental forms and textures. The hand building pottery class is structured enough to give you real skills, and relaxed enough to let your creativity lead.
All materials are included. 25 lbs of white clay, all glazes, and firing are provided.
