FLOWER PAINTING MARATHON:
EXPLORING ELEMENTS OF COMPOSITION

Inspired by the glorious abundance of flowers in bloom, we will jump right in! Our focus will be on responding directly to nature and producing a quantity of work.
Mornings will be dedicated to producing several experimental starts to paintings with the support of individual instruction and collegial encouragement, including a cheering team.
We will break for lunch and come back at 1pm for lecture and demonstration focused on responding directly from nature, large abstract decisions, and color harmony. Demonstrations will be in oil though you are welcome to work in any painting medium. All levels welcome.
We will be teaming up with local flower farmers including Bewitching Blooms in Far Hills, NJ. It will be a riot of gorgeous flowers!!!
It will be very fun!
Please come fully prepared to work with plenty of surfaces. Materials list for oil painting is available.
