Gather around the maker’s table and learn to knit a scarf with Susan Palmer. We will use natural chunky merino wool and integrate into the scarf art yarn spun by local artisans at Rainbow Twist and Middle Brook Fiberworks.
Over the course of three classes we will cover types of yarn and weights, winding a skein into a ball, casting on and off, learning basic stitches as well as different stitch patterns and integrating art yarn into your scarf. Discussion will cover how knitting can become an art form!
Optional road trip to a local yarn store if you want to pick your own yarn before class starts! Place TBD.
