Flower Painting Marathon: Exploring Elements of Composition (June 3-5)
This painting marathon will explore elements of composition such as Line, Tone, Proportion, Gesture, Negative Space, Open and Closed Form, Qualities of natural light, and Atmospheric color.
The focus will be on making a strong start to a painting. You may produce a significant body of work in a short time. There will be a brief lecture at the start of each morning and afternoon session.
You are welcome to work in any painting medium. Oil is encouraged but not required.
