DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Trevor Chamberlain is one of the most celebrated English watercolor painters of this generation and learning through his work is a great use of our time. His approach is very moody and soft which he achieves through wetting both sides of the paper to extend the dry time and maximize soft edges. This painting is one of my favorites and depicts a quiet canal in Venice with beautiful light and dark contrasts. \nWe will explore this painting in detail to figure out what Chamberlain did to achieve this work – specifically looking at what layers went on and when\, the saturation level of each wash and most importantly the timing of each application of paint. \nThis class is appropriate for intermediate to advanced students and runs over two days – Nov. 13 & 20 from 11am-1:30pm \nCancellation Policy: \nAny student canceling more than 1 week before the start of class will be refunded.
