DESCRIPTION:About the Class \nOur pottery wheel throwing class is designed for beginners trying the wheel for the first time\, as well as returning students looking to sharpen their techniques. \nOver 8 Thursday morning sessions\, instructor Susan Palmer will guide you through the fundamentals of wheel throwing with a focus on proper technique\, consistency\, and creative growth. You’ll work on throwing bowls\, cups\, vases\, and plates in a small\, supportive class environment where you get the individual attention you need to actually improve your skills.  Jars and lids\, specifically\, will be a focus of the fall session.   \nThis pottery wheel throwing class emphasizes doing it right — not just doing it — so that the skills you build here stay with you. \nThursdays\, Sept. 10 – Nov. 5 (skip 9/24) | 10am–2pm | 8 sessions | All levels welcome \nMaterials \nAll materials are included. 25 lbs of white clay\, all glazes\, and firing are provided. \nCancellation Policy \nStudents cancelling at least one week prior to the start of class will receive a full refund. Within one week of the start date\, tuition is non-refundable\, as we must cover materials and instructor costs.
