SUMMARY:Dan Marshall: Plein Air in Beautiful Kennebunk\, Maine
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\nThis incredible 3 1/2 day workshop will bring us all to gorgeous Kennebunk\, Maine at the best time of the year to be there\, September!  The weather is gorgeous and the scenery is ever more spectacular from coastal vistas\, rocky beaches and harbors to the quaint town Kennebunk itself \, we will explore it all with Dan. \n \nEach day Dan will teach through 2\, 1 hour demos as a road map for instruction. While Dan’s demos will give you a clear path of the process\, you are more than welcome to choose to paint your version of the scene. The workshop emphasis is always on giving you the tools to make confident\, creative decisions in your own work. You’ll receive personal\, one-on-one guidance throughout. \nWe will have a first session on Thursday\, September 24\, 2025 starting at 9am and we will paint each day through the morning of Sunday September 27. \nYou will need to book your own lodging but there are many options from hotels\, to b&bs to AirB&bs to choose from. We will be painting in and around Kennebunk so staying in the general area will be fine. \nSpots will fill fast for this wonderful trip so please book soon. \nCancelation Policy for Destination Workshop: \nWe understand that life is unpredictable\, and plans sometimes need to change. If you find you’re unable to attend a workshop\, we ask that you let us know as early as possible.\nCancellations made 30 or more days before the workshop date will receive a full refund. For cancellations made 14 to 29 days in advance\, we’re happy to offer a refund of 50%. SUMMARY:March Monthly Watercolor - Master Study of a Dan Marshall Stilllife
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Let’s learn by doing…we will attempt to do a master study of this beautiful still-life  painted by Contempory artist\, Dan Marshall. Dan is primarily a landscape artist in Colorado but paints the world in his travels. I have always loved his sensitive still-life paintings and we are going to attempt to recreate one of my favorites. \nArtist\, Jackie Pankuck will take you through the deconstruction of this painting done by Dan to look at good strategies for getting your version . Jackie will walk you through from drawing to finished painting in this month’s one-day watercolor class. \nAll materials provided and all experience levels welcome. \nCancellation Policy: \nAny student canceling more than 1 week before the start of class will be refunded. Please note\, however\, that we incur a small transaction fee for all online signups. That  amount will be subtracted from your refund.
