DESCRIPTION:It’s Time to Sign Up for Summer Art Camp at A Maker’s Circle! \nLet’s celebrate the start of summer by creating our favorite animals with clay\, wood\, found objects\, ink and whatever else the kids are creatively inspired by. Two of the 4 days will be focused on hand building with clay\, and the other days will focus on exploring other media like watercolor\, printing\, natural dyeing\, acrylic painting\, and more. \nHere are the details: \n-Classes will be held at a Maker’s Circle Studio in  \nPottersville from 9-1PM Monday-Thursday.  Week of 6/22-6/25. \n-Nut free snack provided\, and kids need to bring a bagged nut free lunch \n-Cost is $380\, includes supplies and firing of clay  \n-Ages 5-12 welcome \n

DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\nAbout the Class\nThere’s something almost meditative about the pottery wheel — and this 8-week class is where you learn to make it work for you. Taught by veteran potter and sgraffito expert\, Susan Palmer\, this small-group class is open to true beginners and experienced throwers alike. \nOver eight sessions\, you’ll work through the fundamentals of throwing on the pottery wheel: centering\, opening\, pulling\, and shaping. You’ll create bowls\, cups\, vases\, and plates — functional pieces built with proper technique from the start. Susan’s teaching style emphasizes doing things right so the results actually show\, in a supportive\, unhurried environment where you have room to find your rhythm at the wheel. \nWith a maximum of just 7 students\, you’ll get consistent\, hands-on attention every class. DESCRIPTION:Thursdays…May 14 – July 9 (8 weeks\, skip June 4) This series is designed for students who have experience with watercolor\, who feel comfortable with the medium and who want to improve their exposure to more advanced skills and subject matter. \nStudents in this class will attempt more complicated photo references\, discuss different ways to approach them and each student will work to create their own version of subject. \nAll materials will be provided\, \n  \nCancellation Policy: \nAny student canceling more than 1 week before the start of class will be refunded. Please note\, however\, that we incur a small transaction fee for all online signups. That  amount will be subtracted from your refund. \nFor students wanting to cancel within 1 week of a class\, please be aware that your tuition is non refundable.
