DESCRIPTION:About the Class \nNot all great pottery starts on a wheel. This hand building pottery class is an introduction to the oldest and most versatile techniques in ceramics — and it’s open to everyone\, whether you’ve never touched clay before or you’re looking to expand your practice. \nOver 4 Monday morning sessions\, instructor Susan Palmer will guide you through pinch pots\, coil building\, and slab construction. You’ll create functional pieces — mugs\, bowls\, plates — while also exploring more experimental forms and textures. The hand building pottery class is structured enough to give you real skills\, and relaxed enough to let your creativity lead. \nAll firing is included. \nMondays\, March 30 – April 20 | 10am–1pm | 4 sessions | All levels welcome \nMaterials \nAll materials are included. 25 lbs of white clay\, all glazes\, and firing are provided. \nCancellation Policy \nStudents cancelling at least one week prior to the start of class will receive a full refund. DESCRIPTION:Mondays…MARCH 9– APRIL 27 (8 weeks) This series is designed for students who have experience with watercolor\, who feel comfortable with the medium and who want to improve their exposure to more advanced skills and subject matter. \nStudents in this class will attempt more complicated photo references\, discuss different ways to approach them and each student will work to create their own version of subject. \nAll materials will be provided\, \n  \nCancellation Policy: \nAny student canceling more than 1 week before the start of class will be refunded. Please note\, however\, that we incur a small transaction fee for all online signups. That  amount will be subtracted from your refund. \nFor students wanting to cancel within 1 week of a class\, please be aware that your tuition is non refundable.
