Weekend Watercolor – Sandy Hook Beach Scene

Beach season is around the corner so let’s take some time to revel in it and paint this lovely Sandy Hook, New Jersey beach scene. Painting a beach scene has special considerations. Painting sand is challenging as the color and texture is difficult to get right.  Adding the ocean and surf to a painting  can often result in a look that is stilted and unnatural.  In this class we will explore these challenges when painting a beach scene.  Jackie will lead you step by step through this painting so that the solutions to these challenges are clarified.
