Teen Drawing: How to Draw Your Favorite Animal, Sat., Nov. 1, 2:00-5:00pm

In this class, artist, Jackie Pankuck will guide your teen in drawing a likeness of their pet or favorite animal. Concepts covered are:

1. How to look for a good photo reference for drawing. There are great references, good references and really bad ones!
2. Drawing for accuracy using a grid and/or graphite paper to determine the key points of reference.
3. Using different types of tools to draw: pencil, vine, charcoal, smudge sticks and more.

Students have the option to bring a photo reference of their choice or options will be provided. If you are bringing your own reference, you must submit it by email (amakerscircle@gmail.com) to Jackie to make sure it’s a good option for this approach. 

All materials will be provided. Class open to ages 11-16 and all experience levels. This is not appropriate for younger students.
