Join us for a creative evening of sequencing oil painting and vino. Grab a friend and take a break from the summer heat in our air conditioned studio.
We will be painting with oils in the style of Vermont’s Ric Campman of The River Gallery School. Ric’s approach is called Sequencing, and is a unique and accessible way to paint with oils. Complete beginners and experienced art makers are both welcome to enjoy the process of painting at a deep level. The beauty of this process is that it interrupts any creative self-judgement and reminds the students that creativity is an integral part of each of us and can bring great joy to our lives. You will find this class fun, relaxing, expressive and completely unique to other art experiences you’ve had.
Sequencing emphasizes color, light, the horizon, the physical encounter with paint (no brushes are used), and of course awareness and its counterpart, looking.
A Maker’s Circle Studio is located at 40 Pottersville Road, Gladstone, NJ
