Plein Air Series, Fall 2023

This 4-week plein air watercolor class series is scheduled for the following dates: Fridays, Sept. 8, 22, 6, 13.

Fall is a beautiful time to get outdoors and paint. Painting plein air gives us experience in making quick decisions, simplify the scene and react to changing light. This 4-week series will get us out painting in the beautiful countryside of Hunterdon and Somerset Counties. Each session will be about 3-hours long during which time, Jackie will take you through her planning of composition and the actual stages of the painting. As you paint, she will go around to each student giving direction and tips on your specific painting.
Location will be chosen by Jackie but she is open to alternate suggestions from the class.
This class is open to all levels, however, painters must have their own supplies and plein air set up. Classes will be limited to 8 students to ensure adequate social distancing although being outside will help a great deal in keeping us safe.
Cancellation Policy: Students will be refunded in full up to one week prior to the class date. No refunds will be offered within a week of the beginning of the series.
