A Maker’s Circle is proud to host an Alabama Chanin Host a Party! Alabama Chanin produces ultra high end, couture clothing that is hand made by artisans here in the USA. But you can own your own piece of AC by hand stitching it yourself using a custom made, Alabama Chanin kit courtesy of this Alabama Chanin Host A Party by the School of Making.
Each person will receive a pre-cut, stenciled, ready-to-sew DIY kit with thread, beads, sequins and embroidery floss (AC kits are made of 100% organic medium-weight cotton jersey). You will hand sew this beautiful garment and learn all the necessary embroidery stitches to make it your own.
This kit is accessible to all levels of sewers and we will be there to guide you through the process from start to finish.
We will be working over the course of 3 sessions so that each sewer is sure to finish their project in time for spring and summer!
Cancellation Policy: With the custom nature of this workshop, once your kit is ordered, you will need to cover the cost of the kit at $160. We will give you the kit to work with on your own. We can not get our money back with custom kits ordered from Alabama Chanin. We will refund you the remainder of the class cost if you cancel at least 1 week prior to the start of the class. Thank you for your understanding as we must cover materials costs and instructor time for each offering.
