Mug Making Workshop with Laurie Scupp

There is nothing more sacred than the ritual of morning tea or coffee in your favorite mug.  What if that mug was made by you?

Join the master of mug making Laurie Scupp for a one day cup making extravaganza.  She will spend the morning teaching you two techniques to hand build ceramic cups using the slab building method.   You will then have the option to explore story telling on your work with texture and colored underglazes.  Laurie will share with you her process of adding graphic images to her work, and what she uses from everyday life to inspire her creative process.   You will make a minimum of 2 mugs.   Firing and material costs are included in this workshop.   Check out Laurie’s work @riverhorsestudio on instagram.
