Mishima Surface Decoration on Tiles with Erin Shayler: 10/3

Mishima, or color inlay, is a clay surface decoration technique in which slip or underglaze is inlaid into the surface of a contrasting clay body.  In this one day workshop, participants will first see a demonstration of the technique by Erin, and then decorate their own clay tiles.  Each student will make a maximum of 4 tiles.  No experience necessary.
