Thursday Lunchtime Watercolor Series

An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Thursday, happening 4 times
Lunchtime watercolor class is back!
Don’t have a lot of time for creativity? Join us in studio for an hour and a half for instructed painting (Thursdays 11:30am-1pm…1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11). This 4-part series is taught by painter Jackie Pankuck. She will cover 4 different elements of painting in watercolor progressively. Each lunchtime watercolor series is different – we will focus on:
- Boats -How to ground them to the water surface and let the reflection ease back up into the boat’s hull since there is a trick to their shape.
- Water/reflections – How to effectively paint them–they are always intimidating but it shouldn’t be.
- Buildings – How to make them interesting, not flat.
- Aerial perspective–how to communicate distance in your painting.
All materials will be provided and all levels of expertise are welcome.
A Maker’s Circle, 40 Pottersville Road, Gladstone NJ (across from the Purnell School).
Cancellation Policy: Students will be refunded in full up to one week prior to the class date. No refunds will be offered within a week of the beginning of the series.
