Learn to Knit a Cashmere Scarf Series 3 Evenings

Thursday Nights – Oct. 8, 15, and 22, 6:00pm-8:30pm $135
The holidays are just around the corner. This is your chance to make that special gift for someone you love. You will knit a beautiful, oh so soft, cashmere scarf and enjoy the company of a group of fun, creative people.
Knitters of all levels, gather around the maker’s table to learn to knit a scarf with Susan Palmer. We will use soft, luxurious cream cashmere yarn and incorporate art yarn spun by local artisans Laura Senator and Anne Choi at Rainbow Twist and Middle Brook Fiberworks, respectively.
Over the course of 3 sessions we will cover:
- Types of yarn and weights
- Winding a skein into a ball
- Casting on and off
- Basic stitches and varied stitch patterns
- Integrating art yarn into your scarf
- How knitting can go beyond craft …to a true art form.
$135 (materials included-needles and yarn)
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations 10 days or more from start date will be refunded in full. Cancellations inside 10 days are non-refundable.
