Drawing in Graphite
Building your drawing skills is so beneficial for any aspiring artist! Learn why being able to see and then translating that experience to paper is so rewarding. During our 6 Wednesday sessions we will cover:
- materials – a wide range of graphite tools from powdered form to pencils to solid sticks
- line, shading, value and texture
- composition
- special tips and techniques for special effects
- the power of the eraser as a subtractive drawing tool
- papers & surfaces for drawing
- the importance of developing a sketchbook practice

About Jane:
Jane’s love of drawing began as a child with a sketchbook and pencil always in hand. She grew up in the village of Lumberville in Bucks County, Pennsylvania immersed in a community of artists.
