Drawing the Figure with award winning artist, Beth Rundquist
Mar 25 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until April 29, 2025

Learn to draw the figure through a complete analysis of the basic and secondary elements of drawing: anatomy, proportion, positive and negative spaces in and around the figure, composition and light and shade. In this class, Beth will provide extensive guidance through lecture and demonstration on how to best approach drawing the figure. Students will work from various printed anatomical diagrams and initially photos of the model. Focus will be on achieving the overall gesture and action of the poses.
Sessions will transition to drawing directly from a model using the knowledge and training from the initial sessions. Beth will work with individuals catering to each student’s level of experience.
** This class is for students with drawing experience.
