- Loosen up
- Take some risks in your work
- Develop an individual style
- And so much more…
Day 1:
Dan will design a series of simple, still life arrangements/objects for you to paint including subjects like fruit, veggies, vases, etc. He will demo different approaches of painting these vignettes in watercolor and discuss how they translate to other types of scenes. You will be instructed on why certain compositions work better than others, how to deal with light and shadow, work on edges to create an interesting painting.
Day 2:
You will create your own vignettes/still life using the skills discussed on the first day of the workshop. The day will be spent painting and receiving one on one instruction from Dan.
