2 Day, Weekend, Plein Air Watercolor Workshop – Painting Buildings in the Landscape

September 26, 27, 9-2pm $210

This two day weekend, plein air workshop will take you through the development of a step by step plan to paint your version of this scenic Christie Hoffman barn.  Special attention will be paid to the lovely, lush landscape with FANTASTIC light and shadow.  Jackie will help you work through each step of your plan to successfully paint your vision.  This includes the use of notans, tonal studies, discussions on composition, color selection and color mixing, washes, dry brush and more.

Additionally, painting plein air will bring your painting to a new level as you learn to deal with changing light and varying conditions.  Weather permitting, we will be on site to paint plein air each day.  In case of inclement weather, we will use your photo and sketch references in the studio.  A materials list will be provided upon registration.

Cancellation Policy:  A full refund will be made for students canceling earlier than 1 week before the beginning of any workshop. Within one week, there are no refunds.  Thank you for your understanding as we must cover materials costs and instructor time for each offering.
