Fridays: 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21 5-7:30pm
Beginner wheel throwing will introduce you to the basics of making and wedging balls of clay, centering, opening and pulling up the walls to form a cylinder. From a cylinder you are able to create almost any functional form including cups, bowls and vases. This class will also teach you how to trim and glaze your finished thrown piece. During this 6 week session, open studio time is available from 9-11 Saturday AM so you can hone your skills. Please note this class is at Bullseye studio in Mountainville, NJ, about 15 minutes west from our studio in Gladstone.
