Beginner Knitting-Make a Scarf with Michelle Lowe

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until October 29, 2024
This 2 hour, 6 session class will provide you with basic essentials to start your knitting journey. Skills taught will enable you to finish a beautiful scarf and learn beginner patterns in the process.
Topics covered include:
- How to read a yarn label
- Yarn types, weights and needle suggestions
- How to read a pattern
- Easy stitch patterns (garter, stockinette, moss stitch)
- How to cast on and off
Knitting needles and yarn are included in the cost of the workshop. You will choose from two neutral yarn colors once you sign up for class.
