Private Class: Beginner Watercolor Skill Series

Just starting out in watercolor but don’t know where to start? Artist, Jackie Pankuck will start at the beginning and walk you through the most critical watercolor skills. We will practice them together which will give you much more confidence with this challenging medium.

Over 6, 2 hour classes, we will focus on 6 different skills that will help you feel more comfortable using watercolor. It can be a tough medium but with this practice, you can create some lovely paintings. The topics include:

• Controlling the amount of water and pigment as you paint.
• Getting to know your tools, especially your brushes and what they can do.
• Learning several different types of washes and when to use them.
• Adding life to your paintings… figures, cars, etc.
• Mixing Colors – tips, tricks and creating your own library of color recipes.

Cancellation Policy: Students will be refunded in full up to one week prior to the class date. No refunds will be offered within a week of the beginning of the series.
