Late Fall Pottery Series: Wheel Throwing with Lisette Bedoya

Step away from the week and into the studio — clay in hand, wheel spinning, nothing else on your mind. This 7-week wheel throwing class with instructor Lisette Bedoya is a standing invitation to slow down, play, and make something with your hands.

Beginners and experienced throwers are both welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, and you move at whatever pace suits you. Each 2.5-hour session focuses on the fundamentals of wheel throwing and the properties of clay, working toward functional ware — cups, plates, and bowls — the kind of pieces that actually get used and bring a little joy to your kitchen table.

With just 7 spots in the class, Lisette is able to give real, individualized attention to each student. Clay and all firing are included, so there’s nothing to bring but yourself.

Tuesdays, Nov. 3-Dec. 15 | 10am–12:30pm | 7 weeks | All levels welcome
